They also have a lower life span with lower light output per watt. This new First Strike utilizes the latest technology to maximize light output while maintaining an affordable price.
Through experience from previous bulb design, OLM has continued to push its larger heatsinks vs fans. By keeping them out of the design, there are less components at risk of failing.
First Strike bulbs are quick and easy replacements for halogen bulbs. Their design allows them to fit the exact same bulb that they're replacing. No large or bulky LED drivers. They come with an allen key wrench so that you can adjust the output as well. Loosen up the set screw, spin the bulb until the output is optimal, and tighten the screw back down.
